Ten years go today and remember it like It was yesterday. My youngest son had just started Pre-K and the teacher must have been about 8 years younger than me. She had been saying that my son was continuously disrupting her class and by this time I had to go in front of a panel which included psychologist. They wanted to "label" my son, at 4 years old as a child with Anger Management.
My meeting was at 9 am. As I sat in the front office and waited watched that first plane hit the Twin Towers. I remember thinking "this is why I don't like to fly" not knowing that it was a terrorist act. Even though the day had to go on, I still couldn't help but wonder why was all this happening.
The things that have happened in my almost 4 decades of life, are sometimes so surreal to me. Wars, births, deaths, the crazy weather that has been taking place in areas of this world that don't normally take place. Many say that we are in the last days...
This is why I just try to continue to do what's best for me and my family as well as do the things that I've been wanting to do throughout my life.
I continue to pray for those who are gone, and those who continue to fight for our country.
